ü Civilización Babilónica

     Aproximadamente entre los años 2000 y 500 a.C. Los pueblos que habitaron entre los ríos Tigris y Éufrates, formaron a Babilonia, quien fue la capital del imperio babilónico y un importante centro religioso y mercantil. También se ha propuesto, según los historiadores, como el lugar donde se construyeron los Jardines colgantes, considerados una de las Siete Maravillas del Mundo antiguo.

The peoples who inhabited the Tigris and Euphrates rivers formed Babylon, which was the capital of the Babylonian empire and an important religious and mercantile center. It has also been proposed, according to historians, as the place where the Hanging Gardens were built, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
